Niagara is no longer that cheesy, tacky destination it used to be...over the past 5 years there have been significant changes to the landscape with 100's of millions of dollars spent by business owners to raise the quality of accommodations and experiences.  One such place is Clifton Hill...the only thing you can find tacky there now is the drying paint on all the NEW developments.  There you can find one of the biggest Tim Horton's in Canada, the Skywheel, a new Bowling Alley and even a Dave & Buster's (popular in the US) opening Spring 2009.

Niagara Parks invested millions in 2008 adding their 4D experience "The Fury" located at the brink of the Falls in the Table Rock complex.
